With the XC World Cup route in Albstadt, MOUNTAINBIKE has found the perfect location for testing our new Müsing Specter.
The Specter was completely convincing in downhill passages. The dropper seatpost "makes the Specter, in combination with the very long reach and the 68° flattest steering angle, the downhill superstar in this test", says the MOUNTAINBIKE. "And how does the bike behave in uphill sections? The dropper-posts extra weight [...] is not noticeable here, as it is covered by the well balanced pedaling position and the bikes has the lightest wheelset-tire combination (3570g)."
The MOUNTAINBIKE comes to the following conclusion: "Thanks to its light wheels, the Specter is fast. And is one of the best downhill bikes. The very precise handling requires some physical effort when cornering."
With or without a dropper seatpost, you can configure your personal dream XC racing bike according to your needs and wishes in our configurator.
